Handmade soap is incredible for dry skin, sensitive skin as well as eczema, psoriasis & dermatitis. The oils, clays and butters gently cleanse and nourish your skin leaving it feeling soft and clean.

Fragrance oils (FO's) are synthetically made chemical scent compounds found everywhere in modern life. Essential oils (EO's) are steam-distilled pure plant extracts used for scenting, flavoring, or healing applications in aromatherapy. Some scents cannot be created with essential oil (vanilla) or can be harmful to skin (some woodsy scents), which is why some of our bars contain a very small quantity (less than 3%) of fragrance oil.

That depends on how you use and store your bar. Of course, how you store your bar determines useful life of the bar as well. Typically a bar can last a month when used with a loofah or washcloth.

Our soaps are 100% handmade from start to finish. They may differ from batch to batch in appearance, size, shape, color and texture. We do not use chemicals to stabilize the soap like commercial makers do, in order to keep our soaps as natural as possible.

The biggest difference between handmade soap and commercial soap is their shelf life. Since handmade soaps contain natural and pure ingredients, they have a shorter shelf life for 8-12 months. Due to the chemical content and preservatives in them, commercial soaps last for 2-3 years.
